WHAT ARE EMBOSSING AND DEBOSSING?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The personalization of promotional materials and objects is at the heart of successful branding. How do you want to personalize your promotional items, by embossing<\/em> or debossing<\/em>? The terms sound similar, but their meaning is very different, even opposite.<\/p>\n

We regularly have discussions on embossing<\/em>vs.<\/strong> debossing<\/strong><\/em> within the consultancy we offer in our clients’ projects. It is understandable, it is not a common topic, except for fans of printing methods.<\/p>\n

What is the difference between the two easily confused methods? Debossing<\/strong> produces an image<\/strong> that is pressed into the material<\/strong> and indented, while embossing<\/strong> produces an image raised<\/strong> and slightly larger than the surface of the material.<\/p>\n
