CUSTOMIZATION METHODS

FOR ALL

Customization is the main feature that sets apart the products (from promotional industry or retail) intended to promote a brand from the rest of the usual products.

How do we personalize the products?

The way we customize these products (with a logo or a message) depends on several aspects:

  • object`s material

There`s a way we customize wood, and another method is used to personalized polo shirts. There is a different customization method for each one.

  • the quantity

This element is tightly related to the project`s budget. Customization of small quantities usually leads towards bigger costs. There are customization techniques which allow reasonable costs for imprinting small series of products, even unique ones.

  • the key elements of the event

We will always associate the products` design with the type of event, to ensure the brand promotion expected impact.

Main customization methods currently used to decorate promotional products:

Embroidery

Embroidery is used to personalize promotional textile products. A logo will be significantly emphasized on t-shirts, jackets, vests, caps or scarves if you choose embroidery customization. It is one of the most widespread methods of personalization.

Doming – 3D label with epoxy resin

The doming personalization method consists in covering a full colour print, a bounded area or a support with an epoxy resin layer. The resin film will harden and form a transparent lens that will enhance the print.

Embossing / Debossing / Hot stamping / Hot folio

The result of these personalization methods is similar: creating a 3D logo in the on the surface of the material the object is made of. The embossing represents the logo on the outside, while the debossing / hot stamp reveal an in-depth logo, like a recess.

If we add silver or gold foil to the stamping, we get a personalization method called folio stamp.

In our article dedicated to these methods you can read more details about how embossing and debossing are made.
